Plump, chewy and perfectly formed, these Happy Cola Gummi bottles really taste like cola. They look like cola, too: the top is clear and the bottom is dark amber, giving the impression of a glass bottle filled with cola. Their flavor is sweet cola, with a dash of lemon and a woodsy, mellow spice. The texture is pure Haribo -- a gummi that resists your teeth just a little bit.
The Haribo company started making gummi dancing bears back in the 1920s. Hans Riegel began making candy in his kitchen before starting Haribo, which is named for himself and his home town: HA for Hans, RI for Riegel and BO for Bonn, Germany.
